Electron-Ion Collider Accelerator Collaboration will meet on May 20, 2026 at premiere accelerator physics conference - IPAC 2026. This special session will bring together the EIC and FCC communities to discuss synergies between the two collider design efforts — from accelerator technologies and machine design challenges to opportunities for collaboration across projects. As the next generation of collider facilities takes shape, strengthening connections between communities is more important than ever. We look forward to inspiring discussions and new ideas emerging from this exchange. Dr. Wolfram Fischer has been named co-chair of the Electron-Ion Collider Accelerator Collaboration (https://eicac.org/). Fischer will partner with Tatiana Pieloni of École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne to guide more than 20 international institutions as the EIC moves from design to construction.

Several hundred accelerator experts from around the world will meet on August 10-15, 2025, in Sacramento, California, during premiere accelerator physics conference NAPAC 2025.
